"Arduino" for Mac OS X won't even launch

The current custom build linked from the Getting Started post won't launch on Yosemite. Immediately upon double-clicking, an error window pops up with...

“Arduino” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.

Initially I was thinking it was because this custom build wasn't signed, but that error is different, and can be worked around by simply right-clicking and choosing "Open" from the context menu.

So, any thoughts? And yes, I've redownloaded the zip file a couple times to make sure it wasn't a legitimately corrupted download (which I've never actually experienced, but worth a few seconds to confirm).

[EDIT] Console shows the following every time I try to launch "Arduino"

[EDIT 2] It looks like this may be a bad cert, as opposed to no cert. See here.

[EDIT 3] More info...trying to manually allow it through gatekeeper didn't work, but it will confirm the problem...

So, I finally gave up and turned gatekeeper off, launched flutter/arduino, then turned gatekeeper back on. It worked, I just don't like it. Hopefully you guys will figure out how to either get flutter-specific changes into mainline arduino ide, or what seems like a better setup, a simple installer to add the hardware and library files to an existing arduino install. (Or a repo so the board can be added from within the ide automatically?)

Anyway, the current state of software and documentation is a little sad, but I understand. The examples are a bit ugly spaghetti code too. But the boards are working quite well, and the rest will hopefully just keep getting better.

Wow, I don't have Yosemite on my laptop so I had no idea. I had just unpacked the Arduino.app file and put our modified BOSSA binary inside, but it sounds like that messes with the app signing. Bummer!

Yes, these are early bumps, we will iron them out. I know the examples are messy and unclear, and that will get fixed. I haven't been able to spend a lot of time on software lately but I think things will open up for me pretty soon.
