Flutter Scout is a 3D printable robot car.

Scout uses the following Flutter electronics:

Typically you want some kind of remote control for Scout. For that you need the following electronics:

Scout also requires the following hardware:

  • One thin rubber band
  • Six 12mm “6001Z” shielded bearings,
  • Two 8mm “608” bearings,
  • One MG995 Metal Gear Servo170
  • One D2830 1000kv Brushless motor201

Actually I'm currently looking at going into production for the 3D printed parts and offering a complete vehicle kit. But yes, I want to offer a full parts kit for Scout. I just need to head out to China and get all my sourcing sorted, so that wouldn't be till summer at the earliest.

But I have plans for several other printed robots including a 4wd full suspension platform with some carrying capacity, a drone, a boat, a turtle bot, and a 4 axis stationary arm. Everything would be 3D printed with no screws, like Scout.

Just have so much work to do, I'll have to hire some people before I can spend much time on those designs.

Hi, I'm trying to build this car. I've ordered everything except for the tires. The website you suggested lists them as out of stock. The only other place I could find them was on eBay and even then I'm not sure if they're the correct type. Could you recommend anywhere I could find them or some other usable tires?
