Good question!
There are no concrete plans as of yet, but this is one major feature I seriously want to implement. I suppose we'd have to write a custom bootloader for this, which is something I'm not familiar with. But it would be a pain to manage a large network without it, so we very much want to get this going.
Once the product is in people's hands, we'll have to talk about how to crowd-source this development. This thread would be a great place to discuss it, so if anyone has any thoughts please leave them here!
