Serial over USB

First off, as I understand serial over USB is not available after you upload a script to the board. If that's changed, please let me know.

I did read that serial can be established with an adapter attached to D2 and D3. Does anyone have more details on that? Also what sort of scripting must be included to accomplish that?

The Serial over USB is supposed to be working now, with some users reporting issues.
This was last I checked a few weeks ago, I couldn't find the original post about when the support was added, and I haven't checked the 'Getting Started' page to see how many people commented about having issues with it.

Thanks for your reply.

I'm just trying to run some basic scripts and print results back through the serial monitor for debugging. I'm using the serial monitor in the Arduino IDE and I've double checked the baud rate, etc. I don't have problems with any of my other Arduino boards.

Also, do I just use the USB port on the board or do I have to hookup to other pins?
