What are you going to build with Flutter?

@taylor i'm trying to build flutter based on the source files (finding it a little tedious with finding a manufacturer, and having to change USB footprint since they cannot make a nitch .5mm wide etc etc etc).

Is is possible for me to order 2 Flutter Pro's and Explorer (expansion board - source files / draft schematic is fine too) and get a early delivery

Alternatively if you could send me the USB (tylor) footprint that you have used, i'll try and modify it to be able to source PCB's from at least one vendor around here

I get really fed up with infrared remote controls. So I want to make some kind of simple remote (not a fancy whole home deal) for controlling the main media center in my house.

For the remote, I'll either salvage an old dead one or buy a cheap one and put a flutter inside. Maybe something sleek like a Roku remote.

For the receiving end I'll get an off the shelf IR repeater, attach it's extenders to each device, and place the flutter in front of it with an IR LED to play the codes.

It is sort of an interactive light path into the wild. Flutter seems to be an easy solution to create a wireless, low power network of lights and sensors.

I'm working on a complete anti-theft security system and automation control system for my Rv. This includes obd II, gps, weather, solar pv, wind generator, gas generator, complete weather station, indoor lighting control, Hvac control, and fire alarm monitoring. Not forgetting Kodi music player, TV control, and Kodi movie player. Also will have distance monitoring front and rear, video backup and security cameras. Needs to be able to work with iPad, iPhone and android phones/ pad. Very ambitious project. Have something's working with esp8266 but want more secure network so looking at flutter wireless.

How is esp8266 not secure?

I'm curious since I'm heavily interested in ensuring folks can do SSL-only comms with the module.

There are too many ways to use the ESP8266 and communication between the devices varies all over the place.Many of the methods require using an external internet connection to make things work like thinkspeak. I need a simple solution device to device and secure. I have seen several people easily break into the esp by tapping the network and brute force connect to the ESP8266 and gain control. My solution requires that the devices talk in a very noisy environment (vehicle) without internet connection (with intranet connection to a pc/raspberry PI). so far every solution is too expensive and not secure enough. I have tried using OBD II/can bus - hard wired (works but too expensive and too limiting). Have used ESP8266 works but difficult to integrate multiple items together and be battery powered (Weather Station) . I'm seriously looking at Flutter but find examples/tutorials lacking.

If its device-to-device in a car then it probably should be wired and not wireless. That seems the sensible response to me.

Our goal is to use Flutter for having a remote switch on/off turning on/off or "clik" a pointer of a GPS mounted on a drone, for create a GPS Map. Flutter advantage ? the large distance to operate...

Any advice will be welcome...
